Ms. Yu graduated from Dalian Maritime University with LL.B. and LL.M. in Maritime Law. She was also awarded the LL.M. degree in European Law and Comparative Law by Ghent University.

Ms Yu is a lecturer in Law School of Dalian Maritime University, specialized in maritime law, legal English, tort law and etc. She was qualified as a PRC lawyer in 1999 and has been involved in many programs concerning sales of goods, transportation, insurance and etc.

Ms. Yu specializes in handing disputes covering maritime tort (including ship collisions, marine pollution, personal injuries), salvage, wreck removal, contract of carriage of goods by sea, bills of lading, charter party, shipbuilding, sale and purchase of vessel, marine insurance, international trade, finance and investment and etc.
