Dr. Zhang graduated from Dalian Maritime University with LL.B. degree in Maritime Law in 2002. She was awarded LL.M. degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law by Law School of Swansea University in 2004 and also Ph.D. degree in Maritime Law from the same institution in the UK in 2008.

Dr. Zhang is currently a lecturer at Law School of Dalian Maritime University, specialized in Maritime Law, Marine Insurance, Legal English, Private International Law and etc.
