Capt. Zhao graduated from Dalian Maritime University with both B.Sc. degree and M.Sc. degree in nautical science and Ph.D. Degree in maritime law.Capt. Zhao is a professor at Dalian Maritime University specialized in Collision Law, Maritime Law, Ship Maneuvering and Ship Safety Management. He had worked on board the vessel as officers and captain in shipping companies domestic and abroad. He has got involved in many heavy marine casualties, such as collision, stranding, sinking and oil pollution, as an investigator. He is qualified as a PRC lawyer in 2000. He is a member of both the Chinese Maritime Law Association.and the Nautical Institute of China. Capt. Zhao specializes in marine casualties (including collision, stranding, sinking, marine pollution, personal injury, salvage and wreck removal), bill of lading, charter party and other maritime matters.
